It’s here! Introducing Generac’s largest genset – the Generac 750kW

This September, Generac will begin shipping the largest natural gas generator in company history – a powerful and robust system for the most demanding applications.
The 750 kW features Generac’s new G33.9L engine, developed from a proven diesel block and a robust fuel and spark from Motortech (acquired by Generac in 2017). The G33.9L is designed to deliver a larger-displacement engine platform with high power density, optimized to perform in various demanding power system applications while providing a strong value proposition and performance to compete with diesel platforms.
The 750 kW generator also includes Generac’s new control panel platform, Power Zone®. The Generac Power Zone controller makes interaction with a generator more intuitive. The controller is the first industrial gen-set control platform on the market with built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LAN and Webserver, putting monitoring and control within reach of any mobile device or PC with internet connectivity. The Power Zone provides instant access to generator and engine parameters, ensuring the unit is ready and available at a moment’s notice. The controller also regulates the MPS paralleling configurations. Communication between generators is performed with an industry-first redundant Ethernet. Other features include paralleling control, protective relay and load and kVAR sharing.
The 750 kW is available in both a single-set (SG750) and modular power system (MPS, MG750) configuration. It is U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certified for standby and demand-response applications. It is also available with EPA stationary non-emergency emissions certification.

Generac Power Trip Experience Rolls Into Wolverine Power Systems
One of our highest priorities at Wolverine Power Systems is to provide the information that our customers, engineers and technicians need to get the most reliability out of their standby generator system. We recently hosted the Generac Industrial Power Experience Tour to boost professional knowledge of power generation, unique applications, code compliance and installation, spec writing and value engineering.
Attendees also viewed a live paralleling genset demo.
A big thank you to all who attended. The Generac “Experience the Power” truck was a definite hit!
“Wolverine Power Systems did an awesome job. They were able to speak to Architects, Structural, and Mechanical engineers. This is beneficial for these disciplines to also see the truck as it helps them to visually understand and relate to what they have been doing on paper.”
– Angela Robinson, P.E., Bergmann | Architects, Engineers, Planners“The Generac truck is a mobile classroom that provides not just a simulation but a true demonstration of paralleling generators and the monitoring software as power is cut to different areas of the truck. The Generac and Wolverine team did a great job presenting applications and operations in a way that was focused on the end user.”
